On June 18, 2022, we organized an excursion for future nature guardians and the public to the Iagorlic Nature Reserve in Transnistria. This area has been severely damaged in the past by logging and pastoralism. For thirty years, access to the site has been restricted, and pastoralism has been banned. Nowadays, the landscape is slowly returning to its original state, as the participants could see from the observation tower in the Litvino area. We hope that the conscientious service of the rangers and conservationists whose training will support our joint project will contribute to restoring the Moldovan landscape.
