At the beginning of June 2024, an international conference was held in Indonesia to support the introduction of a national register of industrial polluters, the so-called pollutant release and transfer register - PRTR. It has been operating in the Czech Republic for many years under the name Integrated Pollution Register. Thanks to it, anyone can find out what hazardous substances and in what quantities industrial enterprises emit into the air, water, soil and also in waste, in Czech Republick. Thanks to IRZ, many polluters have reduced their emissions. Unfortunately, this system is missing in Indonesia. The conference is one of the core activities of the Arnika project and the Indonesian organization Nexus3 "Transparent Pollution Control In Indonesia", supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
