Contamination source: chemical industry, waste incineration, landfilling
Site of an abandoned underground coalmine was used for preparation of mixture of wastes including waste incineration residues and metallurgy residues (including fly ash) as well as sewage sludge from chemical plants and the chlorine industry. This was a notable source of HCB problems.
