We invited a group of five colleagues from our partner organisation Ecohome from Belarus to the Czech republic for one week. We presented them some ecological cases dealt by our citizensˈ associations and what actions were taken in some particular situations to resolve them. What cought Belarusiansˈ attention? They were surprised that some mayors or even officers defend civil rights and it is even possible to consult them with the experts from the Czech Environmental Inspectorate. These laws are much more efficient here than in Belarus and people can find support in court.
