As a part of activities to keep protecting our natural wealth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, series of river-cleaning events was held from September 27th until October 11th. Local communities took out kilograms of garbage from rivers and riverbanks of Usora, Drina, Neretva, Rzav and Željeznica.
“Among the volunteers, there were few kids too, caring about the condition and cleanliness of our rivers and excited to help, which is always supportive and nice to see,” describes Robert Oroz, one of the organizers from ecological-humanitarian association Gotuša.
