Dechlorane Plus (DP) is a widely used polychlorinated flame retardant, despite its endocrine disrupting effects in humans. It has been marketed and used as a replacement for brominated flame retardants. I n this study, Dechlorane Plus levels in e-waste recycling communities in northeastern Thailandwere determined through a comprehensive set of samples taken at various stages of the processing pathways of the waste. In total, fifty-eight environmental and food samples were taken. Humanblood serum samples were taken from forty e-waste workers. This report was created primarily for the international campaign aimed at the worldwide restriction of Dechloran plus within the framework of the Stockholm Convention, May 2023 in Geneva. The negotiations at this conference turned out very well in the case of DP, because this substance was successfully added to the list of substances restricted by the Stockholm Convention.
