The local NGO organized the planting of a protective belt of trees to stabilize the river, help retain water, and improve the protection of the surrounding lands from the floods.
The final event took place on 14th November 2021, when the group of 40 volunteers, many from Tiraspol who travelled almost 150 km in order to participate, planted 130 trees (mostly rowans and willows) to prolong the alley of 200 trees planted in previous years.
