Toxic Hot Spots in Armenia

There are presented two reports about five selected hot spots in this publication. The data presented and discussed in these reports were obtained during a field visit and environmental sampling campaign in Armenia in July 2010 and aditional subsequent sampling conducted in autumn 2010.

The main goal of the project is to help rural communities in Armenia to implement sustainable agriculture and to eliminate the danger of chemical pollution in the Ararat and Armavir regions.

"We believe that the work presented in following reports will contribute significantly to implement the Stockholm Convention in Armenia and will serve as a pilot study for the work in other countries as well." Jindrich Petrlik - Foreword
